Hyderabad Airport: The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad (Hyderabad) is about 35km southwest of the city and is approximately a 40-minutes’ drive to the Conference venue – HICC & Novotel.
Flights from most Asian and European cities reach Hyderabad in 4 – 10 hours. Domestic flights from all major Indian cities take no longer than 2 hours to reach as the city is well-connected and located in the centre of the country.
On Arrival at Hyderabad Airport: Taxis from the airport to the official hotels & HICC, Novotel: After exiting the airport door, take the escalator or elevator down to the ground floor, where you will see the taxi stand. The taxis are metered, air-conditioned, and will give receipts if requested. A taxi ride to the Conference hotels costs about Indian Rupees 900 – 1100, depending on the distance to the hotel. Additional night charges of 25% is applicable between 11 pm – 5 am.
Foreign Exchange: At the airport, you should change currency to Indian Rupees. Purchases can only be made in Indian rupees.
Railway Stations: Train services are available from most of the major cities within the country. They provide comfortable air-conditioned travel facilities for domestic connectivity. Participants arriving by trains can alight at Secunderabad, Kachiguda or Nampally Railway stations and take pre-paid taxis or Auto rickshaw’s to the Conference hotels or venue.
